بهرام افشارزاده دبیركل كمیته ملی المپیك هم با اشاره به موفقیت كاروان ورزشی كشورمان در بازیهای آسیایی گوانگجو خاطر نشان كرد:بدون شك ظرفیت ورزش ایران بیش از عنوان چهارمی آسیاست و بی تردید با روند رو به رشدی كه در سال های اخیر در ورزش كشور به وجود آمده شكی نیست در بازی های آسیایی 2014 می توانیم از نظر كمیت و كیفیت بهتر از دوره قبل مدال كسب كنیم و برای رسیدن به این هدف، كمیته المپیك تمام توان خود را به كار خواهد برد.

این نشست با حضور محمد علی آبادی رییس كمیته ملی المپیك، بهرام افشارزاده دبیركل این كمیته، شاهرخ شهنازی رییس آكادمی ملی المپیك و پارالمپیك، احمد ارشدی معاون اداری مالی كمیته، اصغر رحیمی دبیر ستاد تداركاتی بازی های آسیایی و جمعی از مدیران كمیته و ستاد تداركاتی بازی های آسیایی و المپیك برگزار شد.
